Toyota GT86 – Its Almost Here

After what is possibly one of the longest waits in recent motoring history, the Toyota GT86 is finally about to hit our streets. Many have tipped this as the start of Toyota’s return to doing what they used to do rather well – producing affordable, fun sportscars. The GT86 will come in manual and automatic guises with both costing the same in Ireland –  €39,895. Its a very keen price which demonstrates Toyota’s desire to see this car emulate some of its past success. Times may have changed but when a brand like Toyota bring a compact front engined rear wheel drive coupe to the market people sit up and take note. The proof will be in the pudding as the say, we haven’t driven the GT86 yet, but we will of course be available should Toyota extend the offer!
