V For Victoris

Three special Bentley Bentayga Victoris have been created for a very worthy cause.

What do you do if you are a luxury car dealer who wants to raise money for your favourite charities? For Bentley Dallas, the answer was simple: create three bespoke Bentaygas and donate the net proceeds.

Bentley Dallas has unveiled the Victoris as part of their philanthropic programme, which sees them collaborate with artist Stephen Selzler and Bentley’s Mulliner division to create three unique Bentaygas, each featuring bespoke two-tone paint fading, which is the first time Mulliner has made this kind of paint finish.

Each of the Victoris started out as a standard wheelbase V8 Azure trim with Blackine specification and comfort seats before being handed over to Mulliner for their transformation, which saw them receive a two-tone colour with graduated fading and symbolic ‘V’ dividing the tones along the beltline.

Over 70 hours of work per car went into layering custom stencils and applying pre-tinted shades at Bentleys Excellence Centre for Paint and the result is a bespoke finish with an impressive accuracy of 2mm uniformity across all three cars. Despite initial sketches showing a second ‘V’ motif on the D pillars, the finished articles have instead been appointed with a small Victoris badge.

The three colourways chosen are Candy (red) over Cricketball, Moonbeam Silver over Anthracite Grey, and the third is Anthracite over Extreme Silver. Due to the lighter lower colour on this version, it features machine-finished wheels instead of the black wheels of the other two. All three feature similar appointments on the interior, with the Victoris motif again appearing on the headrests and the ‘V’ pinstripe appearing on the dashboard and continuing around to the door waist rails, mimicking the colour separation on the exterior.

The idea behind Victoris is to represent “the triumph of resilience over adversity” in respect to children battling life-changing challenges. Bentley Dallas hopes to raise net proceeds of $75,000 to donate to various charities, including Children’s Cancer Fund, Cook Children’s Medical Centre, and Children’s Health. It has not yet been announced if this will be Bentley Dallas’ only philanthropic effort or if more one-offs will be created in the future.
